Applications are invited on prescribed form for the following posts (S.No. 1 to 5) in the prescribed format along with the requisite fee and should reach at the office of the undersigned by not later than 3:30 PM on 31.12.2009.
The candidates for the posts at S.No. 6 to12 can apply on plain paper alongwith passport size photograph, attested/certified copies of their educational qualifications and experience etc. and may appear for walk in interview on 16.12.2009 at 2:30 PM and no separate interview letters will be issued.
The candidates for the posts at S.No. 13 & 14 may attend walk in interview on 18.12.2009 at 10:00 AM. They are required to bring their bio-data, passport size photograph and attested/certified copies of their educational qualifications and experience. Their original documents will also be verified at the time of interview.

DETAILS OF QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND AGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSTS

Specialist Grade-II (TB & Chest Diseases)
Rs.15600-39100+GPRs.6600/-(Group-A)
Essential : A. Educational : (i) A recognised medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. (Persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section of section 13 of the Act). A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. in TB and Respiratory Diseases from an Indian University or qualification recognised equivalent thereto. OR Diploma in TB and Chest Diseases. B. Experience: 3 years experience in TB and Chest Diseases in a recognised Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD (TB and Respiratory Diseases). 5 years experience in TB and Chest Diseases in a recognised Institution after obtaining the Diploma
Note I : The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India.
Note II: Holders of speciality Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned.
Note III: In so far as post graduate medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time.
Age: Upto 45 years (Relaxable for Government servants upto five years in accordance with the instruction or orders issued by the Central Government)

Essential : A. Educational : (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (Other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956, and (ii) Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned speciality i.e. MD (Pathology)/MD (Path. & Bact.)/MD (Bact. with Path.)/M.Sc. (Path.)/ M.Sc. (Medical Path.)/Ph.D. (Path.)/D.Sc.(Path.)/Speciality Board of Pathology (USA), DCP, DPB or equivalent. Or (iii) Diploma in Clinical Pathology.
B. Experience: Three years experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining post graduate degree. Five years experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining the qualifying diploma. Note I, II & III as per S.No. 1 above.
Age: Upto 45 years (Relaxable for Government servants upto five years in accordance with the instruction or orders issued by the Central Government)

Age: Between 18 and 25 years (relaxable for government servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by Central Government.)

Essential: A. Educational: (i) MD in Microbiology and 3 years experience in reputed laboratory. Persons with experience in Mycobacteriology will be preferred. If MD (Microbiology) candidate will not be available in that case M.Sc. with Ph.D in Microbiology will be considered.

1. Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master’s degree viz. M.Sc. in Biological Sciences like Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Moleclar Biology/Bio-science/Physiology.
2. Ph.D. degree in the subject concerned/allied subject of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grants Commission.
Age: 33 years as on date of interview (Relaxation in age for reserved category candidates as per rules)
Note: Candidate with non-medical degree will not be paid NPA as per rules.

Essential : A. Educational : Must be able to read and write. Preference will be given to 8th pass or above from a recognized Board/Institution.

Age is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates as per Govt. of India instructions.
Note 1. Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the selection committee in the case of candidate otherwise well qualified.
General Instructions: (i) Crucial date for determining age limit will be the last date for receipt of applications. (ii) The appointment will be governed by the standard terms and conditions as per the Institute rules applicable from time to time. (iii) LRS Institute reserves the right to fix criteria for calling the required number of candidates, as may be necessary, for interview. (iv)The prescribed essential qualifications as above are bare minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. v) LRS Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the posts mentioned above without assigning any reason(s). (vi) No. of posts can be increased or decreased by the Competent Authority (vii) Incomplete applications not on the prescribed proforma will be summarily rejected.(viii) No TA/DA for interview will be admissible. However, SC/ST candidates (for posts at S.No. 1 to 5) will be allowed single II class fare by shortest route. (ix). The candidate already in Govt. Service should send his/her application through proper channel.
